Later now than the 5:45 AM +/-  first post . Just couldn't get my head around typing. And I had got an ole TV Series stuck in my brain. Dharma and Greg.  You remember it from 1997.  the Super Straight Lace assisant DA  Greg Montgomery meets , falls in love and marries Full blown free sprit Hippy Dharma Finkelstein .
Just always liked the show and was reminded when I saw Jenna Elfman in a movie last night. You know she was one of ZZ Top's dancers on a tour way back when?  The Leggs Tour I think it was.

But got that outta my system  ( did find a link to watch episodes on line free)

News this morning, they showing live Shots of New Orleans and Mardi Gras that is wrapping up  in New Orleans with the King Rex Parade .   When I was in College our band got to go and march in the King Rex Parade one year.  First time most of us had ever experienced anything like that AND first time all us 18 yr olds could legally drink. Which we did to excess.  That's all I say  about it, 'cept I still got a couple of rope beads. :-)   Live NO camera

Buddy Bob had called on the way to mow his Mom's yard yesterday  asking if I had mowed mine yet.  This afternoon I  guess I got no excuse, so get it done . Wish I would remember to keep a record of how often I do mow  just for the heck of it.  Last year I think it was way less than 10 times, but usually it's at least once every 7 days and sometimes twice.   The back will be easier since I burned and buried that pile of brush and trash stuff.

I've noticed that all my local TV field reporters are using tablet type hand held computers on their live shots now. In fact on the new Hawaii 5-0 last night they were using them. I tried one around X Mas and could not make it connect to the wireless internet so took it back. Wish I could justify one, but naw.. just wait on one till they come down in price and get more wireless connection places.
Speaking of electronics and sales on line. Woot is having at sale today if you're into that.

Need mo coffee, gag my pills down, figer out what for breakfast then see what's next. BBL..

Well, bout 10AM and I guess what's next is get out and attack the yard mowing!  Warmed up pretty nice, lower 60's and rising , no wind . So no excuses except my lazy ass. :-)

BTW, Dizzy Dick, he of bloggin fame, RVing Fame and Doggie fame seems to be having an issue getting his blog to update. ( at least that's what his email said) .So keep trying , he'll get it fixed.

12 plus a little!! Yard mowed!!!  Here again I went out to knock down the tall stuff and figered out it was all tall stuff :-) but it's all finished now, front AND back. Gotta remember I don't try and keep it like a golf course, just low enough the squirrels can't hide in it!  I did how ever spook a cottontail who had a bit of a struggle to wiggle his fat ass  through the chain link fence .  :-)  Neigbor got a new yippy kick dog who had to run along side yipping his face off at me to stay off HIS place.

Tried to get you  a cats level view of before and after.
 Tell any difference?

Think here after a bit of tea, run up and get me a big old subway sandwich.  Hadn't had one in a bit and just sounds like a good idea.

  1. My wife and I love our tablets, but I always write and post my blog on my computer. I use the tablet to post comments. We are both very glad we got them and are satisfied with them.

    1. Yea, you told me you love them. IF and When I start traveling more, I'll find one that will work for reading and email but continue to use my laptop to publish

  2. I think I'll just stick to using a PC and get a couple of extra laptops as a backup!

Sure would be nice if I could teach myself to repair them!
