While surfing around the World Wide Web this morning I was amazed at the amount of Crap! that is out there. You Tube is a vast wasteland of postings by kids on every topic you can imagine and some you probably haven't thought of yet. :-) Aren't those kids monitored by their parents?
I remember back when I was that young , hell you couldn't answer the party line phone if it rang during supper even. Our folks knew what we were doing and where, and with who ( or is it with whom? )
But back to the Internet, ( I discovered it for personal use around around '89)
WWW History Time line. I know,, old history, but that's all I can come up with so far.
Got nothing planned but guess I should get all shaved, showered and all that sort of stuff.
Mo coffee.. BBl.
I'm sure by now you've seen the news about Susan B. Komen cutting their funding to Planned Parenthood. I don't have anything against Planned Parenthood foundation, never dealt with them. But I do have an issue with Komen!! Briefly , when we found out about Ann's cancer I called the local Komen center tying to get some information about cancer treatment doctors. When I told them what cancer she had, They told me in no uncertain terms that they couldn't help cause she didn't have breast cancer. What a crock of Bull Hockey!!! IMHO all they care about is raising money .
NO!! I haven't researched how much money they raise nor where it all goes.
While my Mexican sausage and potato is cooking, waiting for the egg, I went looking for an old game I had on CD.. Found it. Called TIM(The Incredible Machine) Game play, ole Dos style . Info and Demo Other than DOOM that was one game I really enjoyed back in the day.
1PM, finally fought my way out of Walley World , all stocked up I hope.
Clicked on the TV after I put the stuff away and saw this..
A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM FOR AREAS NORTHWEST OF A
LINE FROM DENISON TO WEATHERFORD TO BRECKENRIDGE. ISOLATEDTORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE AS A DRY LINE MOVES EAST ACROSS THE
REGION.
THERE IS ALSO A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT ACROSS NORTH TEXAS. DAMAGING DOWNBURST
WINDS AND HAIL TO THE SIZE OF HALF DOLLARS ARE POSSIBLE WITH SOME
OF THESE STORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS ALSO POSSIBLE.
Looks like it's all north of me BUT getting light rain even now.
Oh well, I'm in , dry and got food to eat, so I don't care.
9ish , kitchen is put up. I had another meal out of that big ole pot of soup I may a few days ago. Then moved the rest to a smaller container . That meant I had to clean up the BIG pot and utensils and get the cat plates all cleaned and ready for Cat's tomorrow morning slopping. I promised myself NO soup this weekend. I got enough stuff here eat bout anything I can think of, so that's what I'll do, think on it. But Tomorrow's another day.

Looks like a neat game. I like the old games better than the new ones, except for Angry Bird.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first got it my Buddy in NM and I would brag on how quickly we could finish a task. Used to spend waay too much time with it.
DeleteNot familiar with Angry Birds other than the humming birds when I forget to refill their feeder . :-)
