Febuary 7th, 2012, Just another day I guess..

Don't have a clue what's on tap for today. Really don't. Oh I may put a call into my new "tax guy" that I have all my paper work ready but hell, it ain't that important.  He had called last week to remind me and  ask if I was ready. Since he is new to me and I to him, he don't realize how simple this is gonna be. I haven't even had to file the last couple years but was thinking I would get a statement for Mothers estate settlement of at the very least the gas company that is pumping on the land. But nope, nada dammed thing.  So, guess I'll go head and fill my papers and then worry bout it next year huh?

Weather as normal, warmed up some.
48.1 °F
Overcast
Windchill:     48 °F
Humidity:     67%
Wind:     2.0 mph from the West
Wind Gust:     7.0 mph
Visibility:     10.0 miles
Dew Point:     38 °F
Pressure:     30.20 in (Steady)

NWS forecast: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming north northwest between 5 and 10 mph.

I can deal with this weather compared to last spring for sure. Last year bout this time it was cold!!  This year so far seems pretty normal. I know the birds are liking in cause I had bout a hunnerdeleventy  robins marching around the back yesterday.

Buddy Jim down in Austin figered out why he wasn't able to reply to comments made on his blog at http://terlinguajim.blogspot.com/ . It wasn't related to blogger at all. It was a setting he had set on his computer. He had selected to delete all cookies every time he shut down.  Changed that one setting and now he is able to reply to comments on his and other blogs like normal. ( Check his blog and try to answer his question if you got a minute) . Or go by and check for updates on his reinstated web page. http://myterlingua.com/.

Going to do a little clean up/ culling on my blog list over there. One blogger in particular has decided that she just doesn't like being so "available" I guess is the word, to the internet so is cutting back on blogging. To respect her desire to not be so "out there"  I'm going to  drop the public link to her blog.  And a couple of others I'm going to rethink whether to keep of not and maybe find some others to add in.There is so much JUNK out there blog wise it's hard to keep up with some of them and some I find that seem interesting turn out to be either political or "cause" related that I don't care to support their cause so, I don't list them.
Like when I had web pages years ago, I try not to get involved with political crap .

How ever I will on occasion remind you to vote and this  year  it is more important than ever to get his one guy and his whole party out and get some new blood in and get this Nation back on track!!

( glanced over at my router monitor to the side and see the upload  light flashing like crazy, guess that means that someone has logged into my  cameras and is checking on me so I waved at them.)You ain't missing nuthing, this is all there is to see right now.

So, While i get another cuppa, I'll leave you with this Quote

"Give me an army of West Point graduates and I'll win a battle. Give me a handful of Texas Aggies, and I'll win the war". - U.S. General George S. Patton

Forgot to mention that I found the doggle I needed to be able to view my camera memory card yesterday. ( and I can also use it to hook up my Flipcam to view those files) While in the Wally World, ran into my neighbor lady working there. Did a quick update on each other. Found our her husband had some pretty serious  back surgery . And all her married adult kids have all moved out . So she is enjoying the quite life again.
She is the one person out there who hasn't aged!! She still looks like about 25/30   but I know for a fact she was born the year I graduated HS back in 1964. Some people :-)

9ishAM  After breakfast and brain kicked in pretty much full speed I guess.
I was fooling around with my browser window and sumbed across a neat little gadget.

If you using Mozilla/Firefox for web page viewing , there  should be a little image down on the far lower right  IF you right click on it you will get a picture like this.  Pretty slick I think.

Sorry I haven't replied to an email if you sent one this morning.  My email server is down, but say they are working on it. So just hang in there.

5PM, cats been fed and are out keeping me safe from all the robins in the back yard. :-)

I made me up an oven bakeing thing. Dressing mix on the bottom, seasoned pork chops on top with mushroom soup over the whole things. OH, and chopped onions and bell peppers  topping it also. With some black eye peas as a side. Don't get much better for down home cooking. :-)

Your lady friend is turning 48 the dragon year in the asian calendar...I was only 16 darned near your age, I have a friend her momma had the cutest little girl in october of 1964, we were both 16 and I got to babysit that little angel and I made two little nightie night sleepers for her and made I think 4 big blankies in my Home Economics class..That sweet little angel is an attorney and looks like she did in high school too..she is a wonderful person indeed..Her big sister and I are the same age she retired last month, lost her husband not too long ago..he was young but got in an auto accident, horrible, were to celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary, one just never knows so I say eat your dessert first and spend on some good times, because one never knows when the good Lord will call them home!!!!!!!!Have a most wonderful and warm week ahead, we are driving to Hood River Oregon soon and will definitely stop in and dine at your daughter's place, it looks so inviting and yummy, we love Bagels.....
