Not even 9 AM and already been on the phone. Just been sittin and thinking and what not this morning. Then a Song popped into my mind , spured by a poem I read.

I was just fixin to set the trash out and git moving when the phone rang.. Mechanic's wife/secretary/ boss calling to ask what oil I wanted in the oil change.. Beats hell outta me!! So I stopped by a few minutes later and told him to put in mine what he uses in his.
Then he showed me the old air filter he had taken out.. Wrong one AND all mushed to fit the hole and pine needles and grass all in it.. Said the leak we saw was fuel leak at the bad fuel filter which he was going to change anyway. ( bet the mileage goes up huh?)
Said we should run some injector cleaner through it cause we have no idea when it was done last time. The one big ole belt, ( serpentine? ) has cracks and needs replacing.
All the other fluids he topped off. Next he is going to pull wheels and check disk pads and rotors. Good Grief $$$$$ piling up,
BUT once it's all done I 'll at least know when the last service was done and that it was done right..
(Why did I buy this thing? Oh yea, to help out one brother. :-( So I'm stuck with it for now it looks like. But That big ole engine should run for another 300K miles now.
OH and I did get to LJS and stuffed myself with good eatin. :-)
